Boy oh boy what a movie. It actually didn’t have a bad start, jumping into the action right off the bat and teasing a connection between Madison (protagonist) and Gabriel (antagonist). There were plenty of suspenseful scenes that gave pieces to the puzzle and brought to two of them closer and closer to finally coming face to face. They had my attention and I was excited to see the link between the two of them… until they revealed it. After the reveal the movie just gets incredibly wacky and all the suspense vanished leaving a silly storyline with ridiculous looking scenes and special effects. At that point it changed to a solid movie to one that was so bad that it was almost entertaining again. Don’t go to this movie if you are looking for a good scary movie that will have you on the edge of you seat till the end; but if you’re one of the people that like to watch comically bad movies, this could be one for you.

*******SPOILERS*******

The twist that Gabriel was a conjoined twin or cancerous parasite or whatever the term was that they used describe it was so absurd that I didn’t even fully realize was was going on. I still had hope and thought “Oh wow they separated them? How are they going to explain where he’s been all these years?” Then they showed that they just chopped him up and just shoved his face IN Madison’s skull because they shared a brain. He was just in her head the entire time! Why would they let her be adopted by a normal ass family without any warning? Cracking your head open isn’t that crazy of a thing to happen, she could’ve fallen off the playground as a kid or gotten into a car crash and them boom, Gabriel’s out murdering people even earlier in her life.

I wish I was on set for one specific scene during the filming of this movie and that was the bloodbath in the police station. She just running around backwards absolutely ripping through every cop there. I wish I was there because I want to have seen the moment when the director told the the actress playing Madison/Gabriel to crab walk as fast as she can past the camera. How do you film that scene and keep it in the movie??? I looked soooo dumb I couldn’t help but laugh as she’s killing people left and right. How could anyone take that shot seriously?

Finally, I love that the ending had them acting like everything was fine and she can just go back living her life now that Gabriel is back in her head. Do you think, “It was me, it was my evil conjoined twin with superpowers but he’s back in my skull now and I have him in a mental prison,” will be an argument that holds up in court? You just killed like 100 people! You are 1000% going to jail forever. But as she said, she’ll be ready for him next time, so I can’t wait for the sequel.

(Why was Gabriel invisible to the husband on the couch at the start of the movie? If it was just Gabriel using Madison’s body there’s no reason he wouldn’t be able to see him right? Can anyone Explain that to me?)
